Little Nomad

I was the CMO for Little Nomad leading all creative and marketing from the initial startup phase to selling a majority share of the company to a private equity firm over the course of 4 years. I helped lead creative for web, paid media, and email/SMS campaigns. Primary responsibilities included generating content for seasonal and promotional campaigns, leveraging our influencer network for content and to spread brand awareness, and building a strong digital presence that showcased our luxury children's products. The company consistently grew 30-50% per year under my purview while maintaining a healthy bottom line that was a primary factor in the sale to the PE firm.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Developed a marketing road map designed to grow revenue quickly while maintaining a 20%+ bottom line.
  • Managed marketing team and oversaw daily activities to optimize all paid and organic channels including social, search, email, SMS, and affiliated/influencer.
  • Developed & tested website design & functionality.
  • Marketed new products and developed cross-sell & bundle campaigns that increased repeat customer business while maintaining AOV.
  • Assisted in building out tech and reporting infrastructure, hired new talent, engaged new agency partners, & implemented data-first processes to pave the way for future efficient growth.
  • Oversaw production of creative campaigns and marketing assets including photography, video, animation, and graphic design for web, social, email, and paid marketing efforts.
